Lesson 1: Neural Networks as a Source of Inspiration
In the first lesson, we will dive into the world of inspiration and creativity, using Midjourney as a starting point. We will learn how to find ideas for our projects by studying the work of other Midjourney users, as well as how to use additional AI resources to expand our creative horizons.
Midjourney Community
The Midjourney community is an endless source of inspiration, a new Pinterest. We can browse the gallery to see what images other users are creating: what themes they choose, and what styles and settings they use.
When opening any image in the gallery, we will see the prompt that was used to create it:
By analyzing other users' prompts, we can learn to formulate our requests more effectively to get the desired result. We can also pay attention to how other users incorporate different styles and artistic directions into their work. This can inspire you to experiment with your own style and help you find a unique creative solution.
Tip: pay attention not only to the prompts themselves but also to the parameters used (for example, --ar, --stylize, --chaos, --iw). This will help you better understand how different parameters affect the final image.
Playground AI
Playground AI is another powerful tool for AI-based image generation. Playground AI offers an extensive gallery of image templates that you can customize or use to create a work from scratch. We can filter images by categories, styles, and keywords to find works that interest us, as well as see which model was used to create the image.
Lexica
Lexica is a search engine for a database of images created using the Stable Diffusion model. We enter a text description of the image we want to find, and Lexica will show us relevant results. Lexica also displays the prompts that were used to create each image. This is a great way to get new ideas and find interesting word combinations for our own prompts.
PromptHero
PromptHero is a platform that collects prompts for various AI image generators, including Midjourney. Here you can find prompts on various topics, from photorealistic portraits to abstract illustrations. The platform offers convenient search by categories, styles, and keywords.
KREA
KREA is a platform that combines the features of an image generator and a social network for artists. Here you can not only generate images using AI but also share your work with other users, get feedback, and be inspired by the creativity of others. The feature to copy any ready-made style used by another artist is especially convenient.
Artbreeder
Artbreeder is a platform that allows you to create and modify images using algorithms. Here you can create portraits, landscapes, animals, and other objects by combining multiple images into one and changing various characteristics. Artbreeder can be a great tool for finding inspiration and creating unique imagery.
